To maintain fairness and effective risk management, the following strategies are not permitted in funded accounts:

  • Grid Trading / Grid EAs
This involves placing multiple buy and sell orders around the current price, forming a grid pattern. While opening a few trades is fine, stacking large numbers of orders increases exposure and risk, which is not allowed.

  • Martingale Trading
This high-risk strategy doubles trade size after each loss in hopes of recovering with one winning trade. It can cause extreme drawdowns and breaches. Variations such as Stop-and-Reverse or pseudo-hedging are also prohibited.

  • Guaranteed Limit Orders
Placing large-lot stop-loss or take-profit orders during high-impact news to exploit volatility is forbidden. In real conditions, slippage or gaps make this unreliable and risky.

  • Hedging Between Accounts
Opening opposite positions across multiple accounts (with Titan Funded or other firms) to generate “risk-free” profits is not allowed. Each account must reflect genuine, independent trading activity.

These methods may appear profitable under certain conditions but carry unacceptable risk and go against Titan Funded’s trading principles. Any use of these strategies will lead to a breach of your account.

Placing multiple buy and sell orders at incremental price levels to form a grid.
Not Allowed → Account breach and loss of profits.

  3. Hedging Between Accounts
Opening opposite positions across multiple accounts (whether with Titan Funded or other firms) to create “risk-free” setups.
Not Allowed → Account breach and termination.

  4. Third-Party Account Management
Allowing someone else to trade your account on your behalf.
Not Allowed → Immediate breach and permanent ban.

  5. Unethical or Industry-Prohibited Strategies
    Including (but not limited to):

  • Front-running

  • Wash trading

  • Spoofing

  • Insider trading

  • Gap trading

  • Server spamming

  • Latency arbitrage

  • Toxic trading flow

  • Long–short arbitrage

  • Reverse arbitrage

  • Tick scalping

  • Opposite account trading

Not Allowed → Permanent termination, loss of profits, and blacklisting.

Why these rules exist:

By trading with Titan Funded, you agree to comply with these rules. Any violation will result in account termination, forfeiture of profits, and permanent blacklisting.

Latency Arbitrage – Leveraging delayed price feeds or execution lags to gain an unfair trading advantage.

Reverse Arbitrage – Placing trades in opposite directions between linked accounts to manipulate profits.

Cross-Broker Arbitrage – Taking advantage of price differences for the same instrument across multiple brokers.

High-Risk Strategies

What High-Risk Trading Strategies Are Prohibited?

Titan Funded strictly prohibits the use of high-risk or exploitative strategies that manipulate risk parameters or undermine fair trading conditions.
The following strategies are not permitted under any circumstances:

Martingale Strategy
Gradually increasing trade size after losses or during a losing position to recover previous losses. This includes opening additional positions with larger lot sizes while the original losing trade is still active.
Example: A trader opens a 1-lot BUY, the market moves downward, and instead of closing the trade, the trader opens new BUY positions with higher lot sizes, such as 2 lots, then 4 lots, attempting to average down and recover the total loss once the market reverses.
This approach significantly increases risk and is strictly prohibited.

Grid Trading
Placing multiple buy and/or sell orders at fixed price intervals regardless of market direction, aiming to capture volatility without analysis.
Example: Setting buy stops every 20 pips above and sell stops every 20 pips below the current price without considering trend or structure.

Pyramid Trading
Adding progressively larger positions as the trade moves in profit, creating excessive risk exposure.
Example: Opening 1 lot, then adding 2 lots, then 4 lots as the market moves favorably, multiplying overall exposure.

All-In Trading
Risking nearly or the entire account balance on a single position.
Example: Opening a trade that uses 95–100% of available margin or equity, seeking one large win while risking total loss.

Hedge Trading
Opening simultaneous buy and sell positions on the same or correlated instruments to artificially manage drawdown or freeze equity.
Example: Placing a 5-lot BUY and 5-lot SELL on XAU/USD at once to avoid losses or manipulate balance stability.

High-Risk Strategies, Risk Allocation & Trader Categorizations

Is there a maximum risk per trade?

Yes. Risk levels are evaluated based on the trader’s ability to manage their account balance and overall exposure.
The maximum allowed risk per trade is 4% of the account balance.

If a trader incurs a 4% loss on a single trade, or through multiple open positions on the same instrument (for example, several XAU/USD trades that collectively result in a 4% loss) it will be considered a breach of rules, even if the daily drawdown limit is 5%.

Unauthorized Trading Tools

Can I use automated trading tools (EAs, Copy Trading, Robots)?

Copy Trading – Allowed only between your own accounts. Copying trades from or to other traders, including friends, relatives, or any third party, is strictly prohibited.

Expert Advisors (EAs) – Only approved and verified EAs may be used. Any unapproved or unauthorized automated trading systems are not allowed.

Which trading strategies are forbidden at Titan Funded?

What leverage does Titan Funded provide?

Titan Funded offers a 1:100 leverage on all accounts, both during the evaluation and funded stages. This provides traders with the flexibility to manage larger positions while maintaining proper risk management.

Does Titan Funded have any hidden rules?

No, Titan Funded does not keep any rules hidden from traders. We value full transparency, and all requirements and policies are clearly stated so you always know exactly what to expect.

Are reverse trading and third-party management allowed at Titan Funded?

No, the following practices are strictly prohibited and will result in account breach, profit forfeiture, and permanent blacklisting:

  1. Reverse Trading
Opening trades that mirror other accounts in the opposite direction.
Not Allowed → Immediate account termination.

  2. Grid Trading
Placing multiple buy and sell orders at incremental price levels to form a grid.
Not Allowed → Account breach and loss of profits.

  3. Hedging Between Accounts
Opening opposite positions across multiple accounts (whether with Titan Funded or other firms) to create “risk-free” setups.
Not Allowed → Account breach and termination.

  4. Third-Party Account Management
Allowing someone else to trade your account on your behalf.
Not Allowed → Immediate breach and permanent ban.

  5. Unethical or Industry-Prohibited Strategies
    Including (but not limited to):

  • Front-running

  • Wash trading

  • Spoofing

  • Insider trading

  • Gap trading

  • Server spamming

  • Latency arbitrage

  • Toxic trading flow

  • Long–short arbitrage

  • Reverse arbitrage

  • Tick scalping

  • Opposite account trading

Not Allowed → Permanent termination, loss of profits, and blacklisting.

Why these rules exist:
Titan Funded enforces these policies to ensure a fair, transparent, and responsible trading environment. Prohibited practices undermine market integrity, increase systemic risks, and violate our risk management framework.

By trading with Titan Funded, you agree to comply with these rules. Any violation will result in account termination, forfeiture of profits, and permanent blacklisting.

Are hedging and martingale strategies allowed at Titan Funded?
  • Hedging: Allowed during the evaluation phase, but not permitted on funded accounts.
